Supporting the Future of Our Children

Hi, I’m Jen – a mum to two beautiful girls, Matilda and Isla, and someone who deeply values the people and places that help shape young lives. That’s why I’m raising £500 for two incredible organisations that continue to provide love, learning, and unforgettable experiences for so many children;

The Willows Daycare, Ipswich

A magical place where children from 6 months to school age are nurtured, supported, and encouraged at every stage of development. With three incredible rooms dedicated to early learning, this charity-run daycare operates with limited resources but is powered by the passion, dedication, and love of its staff.

For years, The Willows has played a huge role in my family’s life—from my nephews attending to both of my girls thriving there. It’s a place we adore, filled with warmth, laughter, and care. I want to raise funds to provide new resources that will enrich the early learning experiences of every child who walks through their doors.

Chelmondiston C of E Primary School

In 2023, Matilda started at Chelmondiston Primary, a small but mighty local school that goes above and beyond to create lasting memories for its pupils. Like many schools, fundraising plays a vital role in providing these enriching experiences—something I fondly remember from my own school days.

When I heard that the school’s PTA was at risk of folding without a new chair, I took it as a sign to step up and give back—not just for my children, but for all the children in our community now and in the future. School is about more than just education; it’s about friendships, opportunities, and memories that last a lifetime.

Why I’m Doing This

Life is about giving, about sharing, and about pushing ourselves to make a difference. So, despite my creaky knees and dodgy hips, I’m taking on this challenge to help secure a brighter, more enriching experience for the children at both of these wonderful places.
