What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.
Story
Knowing Haiti's history and having such a personal connection through my husband I want to help the many people who are still without homes, schools, clean water etc. from the earthquake of 2010 which has now been exacerbated by Hurricane Matthew causing further loss of life and homes.
In order to get the money directly to the survivors we have contacted
the Society of the Sacred Heart who have Sisters in Haiti working to provide tents and clean water and have been assured that all money raised will go to this cause.
The people of Haiti need our help

Dear Supporters I apologise for my lack of communication but these last thirteen days have been turbulent and bewildering and have taken all my brain power to absorb such a climacteric change in our government. But life goes on and so must our efforts to help people less fortunate than ourselves -- as Louis says "may everyone everywhere have a stout roof, a soft bed, and clean water.
