Florence is 4 1/2 and is from Dukinfield. She was diagnosed nearly 2 years ago by a life limiting and regressive condition called late infantile Gm1. This condition is regressive and has already taken away her ability to walk and talk. We have been told it will rob her of most of all her abilities and eventually take her young life way to soon around the age of Ten.

But there is hope. There is a fantastic non for profit chairty in the US called the GM1 Foundation. It is supporting vital research into a cure for GM1. A cure has been found in cats. The hope of the future is that this can reach human trials which we hope and pray will help florence and all tve children who suffet from this always fatal condition. It is very rare. Only one im 250,000 children are believed to be suffering from this but it is on the increase.

The money raised from this page will go to help support florence fight this and also to create wonderful memories with her family. She has an older brother called Riccardo who is 7 and unaffected. Some of the money will also ne sent to the GM1 foundation to hopefully get these trials in time for Florence.

Aisha is running a half marathon on the 14th October 2018. She asked if she could do this wonderful thing for Florence . Aisha is a beautiful lady who we as a family have come to know. She wants to run this half marathon for florence as Florences smile keeps her motivated when she is running and that Florence is a beautiful angel that has touched her heart ❤️
