Finley is a happy, loving 6-year-old boy who suffers with a rare condition called DiGeorge Syndrome, which is caused by the deletion of a small segment of chromosome 22
Finley does not walk or talk and cannot sit unaided; he also suffers with epilepsy.
We, his family, are desperate for him to be able to communicate with us; for him to tell us that he needs a drink or that he feels unwell. Normal things a child does that we take for granted!
Finley uses an eye gaze machine at school but currently he does not have one at home. When he is off school, and especially during holiday periods, he can be without talking for extensive periods!
We have already raised over £5,500 to pay for the expensive eye gaze equipment (it costs around £10,000) and we will do anything to gets this loving little boy to communicate with us.
