On the 24th December I will be running from Woodseats to Meadowhall, which is about 10.5km (I've never ran further than 5km!) to raise money for Keri-Lee Dewsbury's wedding. After reading her heart breaking story and seeing that my old college friend Natalie Hessey and her friends are doing that couch to 5km run, I was inspired to help.

My names Keri, I'm 31 with an amazing little girl called Myla who is only 16 months old.
I have recently been in hospital for 6 weeks where I was being treated for pancreatitis and after lots of scans and tests it turns out I have been diagnosed with incurable cancer (huge massive shock), unfortunately the 15cm tumour that's on my liver cannot be removed as they have found 2 more in the area that would need to be left.
It has also turned out that this isn't the primary location of the cancer but they cannot find that as it's so small so I have started chemo but with not knowing what we are targeting it's difficult to give me the right chemotherapy. We are hoping that something works and slows it down so I can have longer with my baby girl.
I have created a bucket list, nothing too extravagant just things to create memories/pictures for when my daughter is older and also on that list is for me to marry her amazing daddy Rich.
Hopefully with people's kind hearts all these will be achievable.
The cancer I have is very very rare to the point the consultants are writing a medical journal about my journey and illness.
