Weʼve raised £1,084 to help Jo McCormac towards costs for her forthcoming trip to the TREC World Championships, Rome. Competing as part of the GB Young Riders team

Story
My daughter Jo is a dedicated young rider, currently studying Equine Science and Business Management at Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester.
She is completely self funded (student loan) and works in order to pay for her horses upkeep.
She needs all the help she can get for this forthcoming trip as part of the GB Young Riders Team at the World TREC championships in Rome. The total cost of the trip is expected to be in excess of £3800
I know she wouldn't set up anything like this herself, so as Jo's Mum I am helping her on her way.
If you know Jo personally, you will know how dedicated she is, and what competing as part of the team means to her.

6 years agoAll of the GB Team have arrived in Dover and the horses have all passed their vet checkls. An early start over the channel will get them into France in the morning, and to Dijon. Follow Jo on www.facebook.com/TheThreeMaresketeers

6 years agoIn case you were wondering, the photo of the horse has changed! This is because Jo has had to withdraw Tia from the competition, and so is now taking Dubh (pronouned Dove) in her place. Dubh is an ex-racehorse that Jo has worked with tirelessly and patiently. This will be Dubh's first TREC championship competition. She is a stunning black Irish Thoroughbred cross that Jo has had for 5 years. If you want to see Dubh in action.... have a peek at this video. These two make an awesome pair.
