Story

When Claire was a teenager she was diagnosed with a brain tumour after treatment she fully recovered but was told because the treatment there was a slim chance she could have kids. Then 5 years ago she gave birth to beautiful Olivia.

But 4 weeks ago Claire’s life changed at the age of 32. After going to Southport a&e with pain and bleeding in her ear she was given antibiotics and sent home. The week after the pain was getting worse and so Claire went back to the hospital where they found a lump inside her ear.

In Southport hospital they don’t have an ENT specialist so Claire was transferred to Aintree hospital. Upon arriving, the hospital said that they weren’t aware that Claire was being transferred there so took a while to get a bed. At this point Claire had to have her head bandaged as the blood was still coming out of her ear and she was put on an IV drip with antibiotics.

We have found out that Claire has sarcoma cancer which is rare type of cancer that starts in soft tissue, such as muscle and fat and has spread to her jaw and that it’s incurable 💔

Claire is Olivia’s whole life and so the family would like to raise money so they can create lots of special memories that Olivia will cherish forever

Claire is such a fighter and is so strong and we have no doubt in our mind that she will be around to see our sister get married next year but we want her and her family to make the most of each day they are together
