My friend jo is 33 and has been diagnosed with lung cancer the last 6 months have been tough as she first had to undergo a number of tests and then received the heartbreaking news that she had lung cancer. Jo could have crumbled but no she was determined to fight. Jo had a number of scans when she was then told that there was activity in her liver and they were unsure if it had spread to her liver. Jo was hit hard and it was another knock but was one she was determined to fight. Jo had another scan that confirmed it had not spread to her liver which was brilliant news. The month of September had highs and lows Jo was first diagnosed then told it may have spread then told it hadn't and she was due to have surgery to remove 3/4 of her lung and lymph nodes . Jo had surgery on the 16th September and returned home to her girls on the 21st september. The results of the lung they had removed came back and Jo was told she had a rare form of lung cancer. The news was devastating and hit Jo and her family hard. Jo and Chris her husband then had the worst job ever telling two little girls that mummy was going to loose her hair, this hit her eldest daughter of 7 hard. A week later Jo received a phone call saying a professor had looked at the results and they had made a mistake it was not the rare form and the chemotherapy she would have would not cause her to loose her hair Jo Chris and girls have been through a tough time let's make christmas extra special by bringing a winter wonderland to there home which will include father Christmas coming on his sleigh with reindeers elfs.
