Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page. I’m raising £10,000 to support cancer research and care, a cause that’s very close to my heart as I’m currently living with metastatic cancer in my spine.

I’m a passionate petrolhead and have spent countless hours building and modifying a rare Abarth F595, a limited edition model honoring the legendary Italian racing driver Carlos Abarth.

In 2016 I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer, I underwent surgery, radiotherapy and 5 years of Hormone Therapy

In 2022 my back started to become quite painful, but put it down to age were and tear ( which we all feel) it wasn’t until the end of 2025 wear I found I wasn’t able to go through a day without pain relief and a hot water bottle

I had many GP appointments to try and find out why my back was so painful and like me GP felt it was wear and tear, I ended up having a X-ray in February 2026 which came back satisfactory, weird right ? I am now in May 2026 and it’s still causing me so much pain I had to call in sick from work as I could barely walk. I eventually got referred to a bone Doctor in June this year who straight away staid to us “can you get to Swindon Hospital TODAY” of course we said yes, so in the car we went grabbing a quick Maccies on route thinking its probably a nerve trapped or something?

We arrived in the MAU department and had a few prods and pokes and now an MRI was scheduled, after waiting a couple of hours waiting for the results ( now 7PM) it told the reason why I was in so much pain…… I had Secondary Metastatic cancer in my spine from T5, T6, T7 and T8 ! I world sunk, first thoughts not again ! Then the realisation of what I was actually being told - There is no CURE..

I have now started treatment which is on a 3 week on 1 week off, regular blood tests and CT scans.

I honestly don’t know what the future looks like but will laugh and smile the whole journey getting to as many car shows as I can

My car is what drives me everyday, I see her sat outside and I smile so much !

I have entered the Hotwheels legend tour as my car build represents everything hot wheels stands for but in adult size, the historical value, the passion and the sheer joy cars bring. It’s not just a car it’s a life and a community that makes it so special.
