Ailish needs a miracle to help her beat cancer. She is a single mum to her 10 year old daughter Sophia, they moved back home to Ireland a few weeks ago from America. Coping with cancer treatments and Covid 19 has been a challenge in itself.

I am going to Paddleboard from ROI TO NI along the North Coast of Ireland to raise money to help my dear friend Ailish pay for her cancer treatments. As she battles for her life I will I endeavour to 21 miles around 35 kilometres on my Stand Up Paddle Board in one day out in the cold North Sea, this is a tricky and dangerous coastline…I will have to paddle from Donegal across Lough Foyle with its notoriously strong currents. Avoid being shot at as I pass Magilligan firing range. Paddle the long stretch of coastline along Benone Beach, Downhill Beach, Mussendon and cross the mouth of the River Ban. I will continue to paddle from Portstewart to Portrush and around Ramore Head. From here pass the Skerries, Dunluce Castle and finish up fingerscrossed in Portballintrae. All of this will rely a lot on timing, skill, sweat and possibly tears.
