I've raised £250 to Micah Liverpool

On 18th August 2018 I will be abseiling 150 ft from the above the West Doors of Liverpool Cathedral to raise money for Micah Liverpool.
Micah Liverpool is a social justice charity that has been set up by Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and St Bride’s Church to relieve Liverpool residents from social injustice and poverty. They are currently running projects to combat unemployment and deliver emergency food aid and affordable food.
Summer is a particularly difficult time because school holidays mean the end of free school meals for 6 weeks. This can put an enormous amount of pressure on parents to provide enough food to feed the whole family. Food bank visits climb during the summer as people become desperate for something to feed their children and themselves so I'm raising money to help support Micah Liverpool's food bank this summer. Even after the kids have gone back to school the impact of a busy summer can leave stores depleted and the charity struggling to get back to normal.
The money raised from the abseil will be used to replenish essentials and make sure that some of Liverpool's most vulnerable people get fed when they need it most.
