Story
Our dear friends Mike and Beth spent 12 weeks in the hospital so far with little Jensen, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. As a result of the treatment, he's got Posterior Fossa Syndrome, which only affects 30% of children after such major operation. It's a collection of neurological symptoms leaving Jensen unable to speak, walk and causes difficulties to swallow. Jensen needs 24hr medical support during the Chemo therapy he has been receiving.
As soon as they finish the Chemo Therapy, they will need a number of specialised equipment to support Jensen's recovery and development. We have felt helpless throughout the whole process as there's not much else we can do to help to ease the pain and due to the ongoing isolation it has been even more challenging to be there for them.
We have had several offers from friends to make small donations for the Winters in this difficult time which have been so appreciated and we thought setting up a fundraising page would give everyone a chance to make a huge difference to their current situation and Jensen's recovery.
All your donations will go directly to Mike and Bethanie, and they will be able to use them to buy the vital equipment not provided by the NHS they will desperately need for Jensen, if we can all reach the target.
Thank you in advance.
