Story
Jenson is 8. He was the most wonderful boy, happy, cheeky, with a wicked sense of humour. He had suffered from asthma since he was 3. Over the last 4 months of 2017 the attacks got increasingly severe. On January 5th 2018 Jensons life and all our lives ( his mums, his dad's, his brother, his grand parents, his friends) changed for ever. Jenson had a severe asthma attack and went into Cardiac arrest, he died in his fathers arms. resuscitation got his heart going again but Jenson had suffered massive Brain damage. It's been a harrowing few months, watching him on a ventilator, suffering from chest and hospital infections. He's unable to speak, move, double incontinence, we are not sure how good his hearing or sight is. But Jenson is a fighter and he keeps fighting on. We are all coming to terms with the emotional impact on our lives. Also the financial impact in the short term with several of the family giving up work time to spend time at hospital. Which is adding stress to an already stressful situation. In the mid-term it would be amazing to have funds available to fund treatments not available on the NHS
If you would help support his fund now that would be beyond helpful In creating a more positive future for Jenson.
