Story
Lydia is cared for by the Jesus Helpers Children's Home in Kenya. She need a heart valve operation to restore her back to health, but funds are always tight. The children's education and general upkeep means that the only way to help Lydia is to get support from generous people who can make it happen.
I have been giving modest support to the home since 2013, having been inspired on a couple of visits while working in Kenya. I am not religious myself but the pastor and his wife do a great job running a happy place where they look after about 45 children of all ages. They are desperate to help Lydia so she can have a future, and we can help.
Everyone who makes a contribution can feel proud and uplifted by the simple act of saving a child.
