Story
Sticklepath Heritage Centre is evolving within St Mary’s Church. While this little Chapel of Ease continues its role within the Diocese of Exeter some of the pews have been removed to accommodate the Heritage Centre. The interactive display boards will form the basis of the story of our Village from the earliest Chantry - with its resident priest, to the present Victorian building.. Members of the Community have taken key roles and their voices will be heard adding context to the visual displays. Please support the establishment of this unique Village project which will complement the National Trust run Finch Foundry.

3 years agoPart 2 of JustGiving is up and running! First donation gratefully received. The display boards are currently being designed by an artist in the Village. The ‘voices’ of key historic figures relating to the history of the site have been recorded. The open space created by the removal of pews is now sporting a new carpet. This element of fund raising is directly targeting the six interactive display boards. All good - and so exciting! JS
