Rape and sexual violence has always been abhorrent to me. I have had roles in life where I have had to deal with those subjected to such and also the perpetrators. It upsets me (and yes makes me angry) that there are people out there who sexual abuse and groom children, adults, traffic people for abuse.

Too many people's lives are destroyed, hindered and scarred because of someone's evil desire to control, and abuse others no matter the age, background, ethnicity, gender or culture. It's a disgrace! It must be stopped...BUT we also need to be here to help those that have, are and will be survivors of such huge trauma

I want to be able to help the thousands of survivors within Birmingham and Solihull each year who need advocacy, counselling, support, and a belief they will be heard and can live again.

Will you help me to help them Build Together, brick by brick, window by window, door by door, chair by chair etc until we reach our goal to mark our 40th year of service to survivors and acquire and adapt a building for more counselling rooms an children's rooms

Personally I will do all I can but I can't make this happen alone. I would gladly welcome businesses, individual;s or groups to help me help the survivors and those referred to us daily. Someone has to act and speak out and remove the fear.
