I've raised £1500 to cover my volunteer fee for a marine research and whale shark conservation project in Mozambique next March.

Next year I am travelling to Mozambique to volunteer in marine research and whale shark conservation with All Out Africa. AOA are an eco tourism company who run several not-for-profit projects to help the communities, wildlife and marine life in Africa! I am fundraising towards the volunteer fee which goes directly to the whale shark project, the project involves:
- ocean safaris to locate whale sharks, identify them and record information to aid in their conservation
- Dives to conduct research on marine life and ecology including investigating coral fish and coral cover on the reef
- Researching dolphin numbers and behaviour
- Evaluating and monitoring the seahorse population
- Turtle nesting patrols
- Environment clean up
Any donations are greatly appreciated and go towards the Marine Research Fund so research can be conducted and then presented by marine biologists to aid in the future protection of marine animals and the environment. A part of the fee also goes to the Wildlife Conservation Trust for other charities to use in conservation research.
