Weʼve raised £450 to Lifesaving treatment for Ralphie

Funded on Saturday, 17th March 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

After my close friend went to visit her 3 year old pony Ralphie last night and see the horrendous state he was in, I have decided to set up this fundraising page to help her to cover some of the vet bill for Ralphies life saving treatment.

After the vet coming out for what we thought was a straight forward dental infection, to him saying he hasn‘t ever seen a case like this before my friend has been left devastated with the worry of a £2500/£3000+ vet bill to come. At the moment the prognosis is an infection in his mouth, a fractured jaw, and a collapsed roof of his mouth. He has been taken in, sedated and currently being treated for infection before having to have teeth pulled out and plates and pins put into his jaw. It is not known at the moment if this is actually going to help or cure him and he will be affected forever, but you can never give up hope on the love of your life, you will always do what you whatever you can.

whatever you can spare we will be forever grateful to get Ralphie on the road to recovery.

So today jay has decided to bring ralphie home for 6 weeks for his jaw to repair its self abit and make a clearer picture for when he goes back to prepare for the op. If she was to go forward with it this week he would be loosing most off the top jaw and high risks of bleeding and still would be going back for further treatment, so she’s come to the conclusion that the best solution for now. Vets have confirmed that ralphies is not acting like it’s bothering him and is happy in himself.

Thank you so much to everyone that’s already donated it means so much❤️ It’s going to be a very long journey for my boy😩 he’s stay in the vets at the moment until the infection has cleared and then had to be see by all the specialist vets to come to a decision on what’s happening next, as I’ve Been told already he’s had a very unusual fracture that’s going to be very difficult to fix, poor ralphie didn’t deserve all this 💔
