Hi, I'm Jess!

I a gamer and crafter and I suffer from a debilitating illness called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, more commonly known as M.E or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - though that name doesn't do this disease justice.

I'm also neurodivergent, I have C-PTSD, Hypermobility, PCOS and other illnesses and symptoms.

As it is I am unable to work and I survive off disability in the UK.

I have been sick since I was a child, though it took until my late teens to start seeking help and it took until my early 20s to get ANY kind of diagnosis.

I worked full time for 12 years, initially in retail and eventually in pharmacy though I tried a few other options in the past, in the end I had to give up work in 2018 as the pain and fatigue were too much. Being able to work at all with this condition was a blessing, though it was incredibly hard and I wish I'd sought some employment that was easier on my body much earlier.

I now live in my own flat with my two dogs, they are my world and I ensure they never go without, even if Iyself do.

With the rising cost of living money can be very tight. While I can just get buy, not being permitted to save any money can make emergency or large expenses difficult to manage.

In the future I am hoping to open an online store for some of my crafting items and I would like to stream some gaming content, but currently this is beyond me as my illness has no treatments and is very disabling.
