Story

Hi, I'm Jess, a 35 year old counsellor and psychotherapist enjoying family life in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Just £5 would help donated for a therapy session for a survivor at S.H.E. UK. A vital resource to provide hope and healing once again. Thank you so much.

I was crowned Ms United Kingdom in March 2025 and I advocate through platform The Sanctuary Project, which helps support survivors of childhood abuse to find their own inner sanctuary of peace, calm, love and compassion. A place they have always deserved.

My YouTube channel 'The Sanctuary Project' features original recorded meditations, breathwork and other healing audio tracks that are freely accessible and provide a vital resource for all survivors where no money is exchanged. I have volunteered my time to help professionally record these audio tracks with survivors in mind.

You can also find, 'The Sanctuary Project' podcast on Spotify!

I am hoping to raise £500 for my journey as Ms Voluptuous United Kingdom 2025 to put towards my sponsorship and fees to professionally record these tracks and £500 to donate to S.H.E UK. to help more survivors to access the support they deserve in their journey healing from childhood sexual abuse, exploitation and sexual violence.

Having volunteered counselling survivors at S.H.E. UK myself, I know how much time and hard work is put into this charity. They provide a range of holistic services including very low cost/free donation based long term counselling that is not available anywhere else that I know of, group lounges where survivors can come together to feel less alone and many more services. With the aim of supporting, educating and connecting to improve the lives of survivors by meeting from a world they may have experienced with shame to one of openness and compassion.
