Story
In June I will be travelling to Antigua, Guatemala, to volunteer in ‘la Escuela de Esperanza ‘ - a free school located in one of Guatemala's poorest regions providing education, food and general support to impoverished children.
The founders of the school, EFTC (Education for The Children), take a holistic approach towards ending suffering as they believe that the vicious cycle of crime and poverty can be broken via education. Not only do they educate and feed the children, but EFTC provides healthcare and will often go as far as to build/repair homes for the families of the children.
I truly believe that we should all take steps to make positive changes in the lives of those less fortunate. If you're reading this you've had the privilege of receiving an education yourself and may or may not be aware of the many doors it has opened for you. By donating a couple of pounds you can help to educate and therefore improve the future's of many children!
*100% of proceeds will go directly to EFTC.
