I first heard about this charity through my church in Nottingham. Two paediatricians were describing the experiences they had helping some of most vulnerable people in India. The injustice they saw, particularly towards children, prompted them to give up their career in the NHS, move to India and help set up Love the One charity. This works alongside and helps as many people as they can in one of the poorest regions of India. I found their story, and the charity's work, very inspiring so decided to run (or at least try to run) a half marathon to raise money for their cause!
