My beautiful mum was recently diagnosed with advanced Ovarian Cancer... Since diagnosis in January 2018 she has undergone two surgeries and has today started chemotherapy. Her strength and positivity throughout have been truly inspiring and she continues to meet every single hurdle with incredible bravery. In addition to the challenges she has already faced, the combination of two chemotherapy drugs that my mum’s cancer are most responsive to are those that bring with them the daunting side effect of hair loss, any women’s worst nightmare. Unfortunately there will be other cancer sufferers and their family members out there who will already be aware of the big financial burden that cancer can be, not considering the cost implications of buying a wig, which by the way start at around £500+
