Help Us Give Our Mum a Real Chance at Survival 💛

In February, our mum, Dawn Pulker, was diagnosed with extensive stage small cell lung cancer, one of the most aggressive cancers there is. We were told she had six months to live, even with treatment.

But Mum is still here 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✨✨✨

She has passed that prognosis, responded well to chemotherapy, and against everything we were told was possible, her care has now been moved from palliative to radical treatment. This means there is now a real chance to control the disease long term.

Only a few months ago, two hospitals told us this would never be offered. Today, it is. This is because Mum’s body has shown it is strong enough to tolerate further treatment.

Her doctors have been clear. The reason she has reached this point is because of the integrated approach we have taken, supporting her body alongside conventional treatment so she can recover, stay strong, and keep fighting.

This is what we must continue, but we cannot do it alone.

Mum’s ongoing care includes:

These treatments cost thousands of pounds each month. We have already used savings and taken on debt without hesitation, because keeping Mum alive is everything to us. We now need continued support to make sure this care can continue.

We have fought relentlessly to get her to this point. We refused to accept that there were no options left. Now that a door has finally opened, we must do everything possible to keep Mum’s body strong enough to walk through it.
