Story
Next summer I am travelling to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos along with a group going from my school and in partnership with Outlook Expeditions.
During our time in South East Asia we're going to do a variety of things; including spending a few days working at an elephant project (including monitoring integration of rescue elephants) and later completing building work at a school with Volunteers for Peace Vietnam, a charity founded in 2005 who place international volunteers on projects throughout Vietnam.

5 years agoHi everyone, I recently arrived back from an incredible month away travelling between Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. I was blown away by the jungle lagoons we visited, the people we stayed with and the strong community spirit we encountered in all three of these countries. When I started 6th form in September 2017 I immediately signed up for this trip - as two years before I'd had to pull out of a similar one because I couldn't raise all the money. As well as money I'd saved for that trip I also work as a swim helper and waitress every weekend.
