On the eve of the Golden Reel final 2017, Toby had all of his fishing tackle stolen from him. The tackle stolen was worth approximately £8000 and all that was left of his tackle was some keepnets. Toby had saved since his childhood and worked hard to build up the gear he had to that date and a lot of this had great sentimental value.

As his girlfriend, it hurts to see how heartbroken he is; to save up to replace his stolen tackle will take him years. The thought of not being able to enjoy the sport he loves anymore has had such a negative impact on him and I want to do all I can to see him smiling and back fishing again.

The first thing Toby needs is a seatbox, a rod and a reel which is why I am aiming to raise £500. Anything that I raise however, is another step closer to buying him some gear back and will be so appreciated.
