I've raised £1000 to Purchase equipment for the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure team working across Wrexham and Flintshire

Our NHS Cardiac Rehabilitation team supports people following cardiac events in the Wrexham and Flintshire areas. Such events include heart attacks, coronary artery bypass graft surgery, and percutaneous coronary intervention. We work closely with the Heart Failure team also, who focus more on the support of people who have been diagnosed with heart failure; a complex condition affecting over half a million people in the U.K.. Together we provide education, medical therapy, emotional support, and the opportunity to attend our specialist exercise classes.
Our team is extremely passionate about the work we do every day, and we are always striving to enhance our service and improve the care we deliver for our patients. By having better, more up to date equipment, we could provide faster, more efficient care, and ultimately reduce hospital admissions.
I (Jessica Norman - Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist) will be running the Manchester marathon (twice as far as I have ever ran in my whole life) on April 8th 2018. Myself, Jacqui Cliff (Lead Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist), Louise Baker (Heart Failure Administrator), and Louise Rimmel (Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist) will also be running the Chester half marathon at the end of April 2018. We are all training extremely hard for these events and to raise as much money as possible for our cardiology team which we are all so passionate about.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
