Hi,

My Mum was one in a million, funny, crazy in her own way, protective and she loved her family so much. Sadly my mum was diagnosed with Lung cancer in 2015 and had to under-go a massive operation to remove it, leaving her with half of her left lung. She was so strong and fought through it, going through chemotherapy every other week for hours on end, but as much as she hated it, she did it and beat it. In the past year she did so much, lived her life to the fullest, travelled to America twice, Belgium and Amsterdam and went over to Australia to conquer the bridge climb in Sydney and raised a bit of money for Douglas Macmillan. She became ill again in June 2016 and in September we found out she had cancer again. My mother was so strong and full of life, even in a lot of pain she still had her humour. When she was in the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, she had talked about how the birds hadn't been out on the bird feeder outside since she had been there, assuming that the local cat had been eating them. 04/11/2016 6:20am she passed away, as the birds sang outside of her window, as my hand was in her hand. My world, my inspiration and my heart, I miss you so much and if I am going to make anyone happy it's you.

I have set up this page because I want nothing more than to be able to live in my mum's footsteps in a beautiful place, dedicating it to a beautiful women. This means a lot to me as my mum meant a lot me, I want to make her proud in everything I do and this something I know will make her proud. once I have raised the funds and conquered the bridge climb with my granddad I will post photos and I'll also be doing some fundraising on the side for the Douglas Macmillan hospice and do different activities and fun things to help them raise more money and awareness.
