Do you get to use the toilet in private and close a door?

Do you get to sleep in your own bedroom with your loved one?

Do you get changed in private without the worry someone will walk in the front door? Or that your chrildren will walk into a stressful situation

Do you shower when you feel dirty and brush your own teeth?

do you get up and walk out of your door when you feel like it?

Paula doesn't.

Paula is our dear friend who is wheelchair bound due to MS. She lives with her husband and two teenage children.
She worked hard her whole life, even after diagnosis until it was physically impossible.

Unfortunately Paula's home is not wheelchair user friendly and she is having to live solely in her family living room, she can't have privacy, she can't sleep in a bed with her husband, her children have to check if it's okay to walk in the living room, she hasn't showered for two years. She can't get out of her front door easily or get into her back garden.

It's difficult for the whole family, but you would never know they smile and soldier on everyday because they have too.

We are trying to raise funds towards a life changing extension for Paula. To enable her to have a normal life as possible. It will allow the house to be adapted so Paula has her own bathroom, bedroom and seperate family living room. The council are funding most of the work but we need to raise a few thousand.
