Story

This is Jessica's Story written by her Mum, thanks for reading.
This is a story how my 13 month old little girl Jessica went to bed as a normal nite to be woken up at 6am with her fitting Jessica was rushed to hospital still fitting after a hour and half of Jessica still fitting and the doctors working on her they had to ibtubate her and put her in a induced coma and transfer her to Manchester children hospital in picu. Jessica had a mri scan and lots of test done as they didn't no what cause her to fit so long she woke up after 10 days in picu she had bad dystonia her right was affected the most. Over the next few weeks Jess was moved to a ward and was monitored with more test being done we found out the devastating news that Jess brain had deteriorated we was told that Jess will not be able to see or hear move or eat she will never walk and didn't have any quality of life. Jess had a peg fitted and is on a lot of medication for dystonia seuzie and reflux over all she has 26 meds a day. After nearly 4 months in hosp we got to bring Jess home on the 15th December 2017 Jessica was so chilled at home and thrived of being home we believe that Jess can see and hear as she follows light and sounds also showing signs of smiling after few weeks of being home Jess did her first giggle and progressed over the weeks with laughing more. Jess is still undiagnosed as genetic test are still being done plz share so her story can go world wide and maybe sum1 out there is going through the same. Thankyou
