Story
I am doing the Twilight Runway 10K run in September to raise money for Creative Response. They are a great charity based in Farnham which run art sessions for vulnerable adults and those who struggle with their mental health. I have seen first hand the amazing work that they do at Creative Response.
My lovely Mum has been lucky enough to be at Creative Response for a number of years now. The team here have really helped her develop in many ways from really struggling with mental illness she has come so far in the past few years, thanks to the commitment to her from the art workers and social environment of the Creative Response classroom.
She was inspired to start her own business, originally starting from the work she created in the classroom. This has massively increased her confidence in herself not only to run and maintain this business but also as a person.
They hold great exhibitions for the students to showcase their work, Space2grow garden and within the creative response classroom. They continued to remain supportive throughout lockdown with art packs sent out to all the students, zoom sessions were arranged and check up phone calls from the art workers. The team working at Creative Response not only deserve a great amount of recognition for what they do but with extra funding they are able to supply additional resources and take on new students.
