I've raised £250 to make feminine care & toiletry bags for homeless women around Swindon.

Homelessness is a major issue in not just Swindon, but all over the country. Just walking through the Town Centre you will pass several homeless people a day.
I took it upon myself to put myself in their shoes and as a woman, realised that not only would they go without food, they would be going without their basic human needs. Periods are not something that can be avoided so having to suffer every month with no access to basic hygiene care is appalling - especially considering the government provide condoms for free.
I am raising money and taking donations of any of the items below to make feminine care & toiletry bags to distribute to local charities which help the homeless.
These bags will include: Sanitary Towels, Tampons , Wet Wipes, Deodorant, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap & Chocolate.
To make 20 bags would cost approximately £250, however my aim is to make more than 20 so any contributions on top of cash donations would enable this.
My aim is to contact Swindon Women's Aid & Threshold Housing Link to see if any women there would benefit from receiving a bag .
I have been in contact with Homeless Helping Hands (Swindon) who have kindly helped with my pledge and enabled this to happen. They have promised to support and distribute the bags accordingly to those ladies they support to.
Any little will help & thank you for taking the time to read this.
