I am doing the Christmas Day swim this year on Exmouth Seafront in aid of CanCope, a Cancer Support Group based in Exmouth. I have been involved with this charity for the last few years now as their Treasurer and as my mother had cancer, I would like to think that in some way I am still helping to give back. They meet every 1st Thursday at Radcliffe House in Withycombe, Exmouth for tea and coffee and have guest speakers in giving talks on various subjects. They provide help and support to anyone who has suffered or is undergoing treatment for cancer. We would like to raise at least £500, as well as raising our profile in the Exmouth community.
