My name is Jill Reubens. In 2005 I was diagnosied with breast cancer. After surgery, chemo and radiotherapy I was well on way to recovery. I went back to work and was enjoying life, when in 2009 I was diagnosied with stage 4 metastasis breast cancer, incurable and sad. I started a new medication, which I have been very lucky in responding too. I have been a ceramicist for over 30 yrs, it is a great love of mine, there is somethinig very therapeutic about working with clay. Having had a lot of interest shown in some wedding favours I had made recently I thought I would have ago at running a business supplying brides to be. Cancer doesnt have to mean a death sentance today, I think that been positive and productive has prolonged my life so much. I love life and I love what I do.I have to admitt I have struggled to find an employer whom would employee me so I thought I would employee myself...
