A few days ago my mother was scammed by men posing as workmen. Shes almost 80 years old and very vulnerable. She handed over almost 6k in cash thinking there were going to re do her garden. In fact they had hacked the real companys account on facebook, thereby gaining her details. She is both embarassed and upset. I appeal to you all to give a little back to her. She cant afford to lose that kind of money! She is still grieving after the loss of her husband of nearly 60 years and this has left her more frightened of being alone. She has never asked for help in her life but hopefully people are kind enough to help her. She has no idea Im doing this but she has given so much to people in her lifetime as an NHS worker i thought I could help just a little to ease her upset.
