Jill's story

This charity is to raise funds for special teddy bears that contain a recording device inside. When you lose a loved one, it is a life changing moment. I was fortunate enough when in that moment I was given one of these teddy bears which enabled me to record my sons last heartbeat which now means I can keep it with me forever. There was one bear available at this time, and I was lucky enough to receive it from the ICU in Warrington hospital.

To date, up to September 2025, I have donated nearly 1000 bears in hospitals and hospices across the North West. I would like to continue raising money so I can give these bears to as many ICU and children’s/ baby wards throughout the UK as is possible. This can help families in their hardest times. The families who have received a bear after losing a loved one have been immensely grateful that they can embrace a piece of their memory in such a comforting way.

My wish is that over time with help and support I can donate many more bears across the UK ❤
