I've raised £600 to Fund a memorial tree for Jilly Parker in Bishop's Park

Fulham Running Club is working with Hammersmith and Fulham Council to plant a tree in memory of Jilly Parker, who sadly passed away in February 2023.
Jilly was the definition of what this club is about – community, support and perseverance. If she wasn't running, she was always there cheering each and every Fulham member on.
For those who didn’t get the privilege to know Jilly, she was the definition of what this club is about - community, support and perseverance. If she wasn't running, she was almost always there cheering you on! A true Bandit!
Jilly was a member of Fulham Running Club since 2015 (with her dogs George and Sam as honourary members). She was a regular at club runs, intervals, Ten at Ten, Core at Four, Second Sunday 5, and Fulham Palace parkrun. She was also a die-hard F1 enthusiast, a fashion designer and model, an animal lover, and a great storyteller.
Jilly will be missed by a lot of people. The best way to honour her memory is to plant a tree in Bishop's Park, where she was often seen running, cheering, or doing core exercises. The magnolia kobus tree will be planted in October or November 2023.
The magnolia kobus is a beautiful tree with large, white flowers that bloom in early spring. It is also a symbol of hope and renewal.
There will be an unveiling ceremony soon to remember Jilly.
Your donation will help cover the cost of the tree and its maintenance for the first two years. Any additional donations will go to Battersea Cat and Dogs Home and Cancer Research UK - two charities that Jilly loved.
Please donate today to help honour Jilly's memory.
