Story

Hello, my name is Jimmy and I am DeafBlind (meaning I cannot see or hear and need a support worker to enable me to live my life to the full)

.

I havent had a holiday in 4 years. Because of the way my support is allocated in order for me to go away I would need to pay for myself, and 2 support workers to go. I would also need to use all of my support hours and borrow hours from future weeks (meaning I would have less time to do the things I love until those hours had been paid back). I love going out and doing things and I really would love a holiday. My friend JJ has said he will take me and so that way I don't need to use my support hours as he would do it as a volunteer because he is my friend. I don't have a lot of money and JJ thought it would be a good idea to try and raise some money so that I can have a break.
