Story

On the 9th November 2018 I will be fighting for the third time as part of the Ex-SAS team at The Hilton Metropole in Brighton to raise money for military charities and clubs.

The Remembrance Rumble started in November 2016 at York Hall where I (ex-22 SAS novice boxer, aged 40 and weighing 180 pounds at the time) fought against an Ex-Navy Seal. There were several bouts that night between the elite forces, raising funds for several military charities and clubs. It was a success and so here I am fighting again three years on.

I am raising funds this year for True Heroes Racing.

True Heroes Racing is a truly unique motorcycle race team, supporting injured service people from all services.

The Team - At this critical point in their personal journey True Heroes Racing really offers injured service people something out of the ordinary; with the opportunity to be a member of a team again and also with something exciting and new to engage in and focus on.

True Heroes Racing really makes everyone involved a key member of the team again with their roles they are given. It immerses them back into a military style environment, critically with all the banter and camaraderie they miss. The team is not just about the racing, but the whole build up surrounding it as well.

Our support and contributions will enable the racing team to meet their goals and improve conditions. You can also look to join us as being a member of True Heroes Racing proves to it’s members, and the wider audience, that they can compete on a level playing field with their able bodied counterparts, as well as critically proving that their injuries do not have to limit the activities they can undertake or the lifestyle choices they make.

Look forward to seeing you all there on the night.

Thanks Jim
