I've raised £400 to help fund my lifelong dream to become a Formula 1 racecar driver such as the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.

Story

Hello, Joey here. Ever since I was a young boy, I have always wanted to get involved with cars especially when it came to racing. At the moment, racing games are as close as I can get to the real thing but they don't give me nearly as much of an adrenaline rush as actual racing. So far, in the 15 years I've lived, I have only taken part in 4 karting sessions. The first one being when I was 8, but because it was my first time, they were loud for me and I didn't like them. By the time I was 12, however, I got a lot more accustomed to karts. When I was 13, I almost beat the track lap record at my closest racetrack. For my 15th birthday, I went karting at KNE in Sunderland and broke the track lap record by a landslide. All these events, aside from my first time, go to show that I am very much capable of making it in the racing world. All I need is the funding to make my big break. That's why I have set a goal of £400, because there are 10 rounds in the championship I'd like to enter and each round is £35 so my goal is what I'll need to take part in the whole championship and also the 5% fee that this site does, so if everything goes well I'll get the money I need for this. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I sincerely hope that you help me acheive my dream.
