The generosity of the Lichfield and wider rugby community never ceases to amaze! Within 2 weeks of launching, and with another 2 weeks until our 24 hour event we have smashed our initial target. This make real our wish to relieve Josh’s family of all financial costs associated to Josh’s funeral. THANK YOU!!!

We don’t want to stop here! As a legacy to JM3 we have a new target, with all further money raised supporting MacMillan and Looseheadz!

Josh Machin, self pronounced 'JM3', was a much loved member of Lichfield Rugby Club having played throughout the mini and junior section and into the 1st Team.

Tragically, Josh lost a short, but courageous battle with cancer on 24th June 2023, at the age of just 30. Find out more about Josh's story here: JM3 - Club Statement

JM3 til 3 will see the club host a non-stop 24-hour rugby match in his memory, raising funds to relieve his family of any financial burden associated with his passing, and support charity.

The chosen charities are Macmillan Cancer Support and LooseHeadz, a rugby charity fighting to #TackleTheStigma around mental health, something very important to Josh in his life.
