Mum initially volunteered at the day centre and then later started working for Derbyshire Council as a Residential Social Worker, her role was to support adults with learning disabilities within their own home. Mum really enjoyed her time in this job so it would be great if people would prefer to donate rather than send flowers at the funeral as I am sure the centre will find a good use for some additional funds.
