On Sunday 14th September 2025 I will be cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton and would love to raise £1500 or more for The Fulham Boys School (FBS). FBS is a pioneering, fully comprehensive state secondary school in the heart of Fulham (a diverse borough that encompasses some of the most deprived families in the country). FBS prides itself in bridging the divide between state and independent sectors, drawing on the strength of our community, to provide an enterprising, inspirational and supportive education to allow ALL boys to thrive together regardless of their postcode or family circumstances. As they say - every little bit helps and with increasing strains on funding around state schools, I would love to help FBS continue in it’s successes to date . These include, high academic aspirations, low pupil/teacher ratio, extended school days, high quality teaching and pastoral care specifically geared to boys, enterprise programmes, the diverse student body and an education founded around the values and principles of Christian faith.

All monies donated will go straight to much needed school funds.

The last time I did this ride was over 30 years ago so I hope the weather is kind and that the challenging Ditchling Beacon climb at the end isnt too arduous!
