Kate is currently in Uganda where she has joined a team of volunteer, newly qualified nurses who are there for a month nursing in remote areas working in extreme conditions. If you look at Facebook's NURSE UGANDA page you will see a stream of very touching stories about the amazing work these nurses are doing.

Kate has paid £2,800 to go to Uganda and has funded all relevant injections and immunisations, visas etc. as well as being a skint student at the end of her three year nursing degree !! She has a rather large loan to pay back and I thought it would be nice to have a whip round to help her out !!
