    Story

Daisy's Trust has been set up with one aim in mind. To make her life as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and this could not be possible without the support of all the family, friends and DPT ambassadors who fund raise each year.

Daisy suffers from the incredibly rare and debilitating illness known as Chronic Intestine Pseudo-Obstruction (CIPs). This means she cannot eat anything at all orally, and is instead fully reliant on being fed intravenously directly via her heart.

Daisy's condition is so complex now that she is attached to her feeding machine all day every day. This makes days out and holidays extremely limited, simply due to the time and sheer logistics of transporting all her medicines, feed and equipment.

There are many other simple everyday things that Daisy will require whilst stuck indoors for such long periods, either upstairs or hopefully downstairs via her new lift. Things to keep her occupied, such as Arts, Crafts, Books and DVD's. Educational and Nursing needs. Not only whilst at home, but also during inevitable long hospital admissions. The list is endless and ongoing even after adaptions have been made.

This is where you come in to help make this brave girls life that little bit more comfortable. There are many things in life that we take for granted and just imagine if you had the restrictions that Daisy had? You would want all the support you could possibly get of the people around you so you can continue to lead as normal life as is possible.

Every donation received will go towards further equipment for Daisy, for maintenance of her existing equipment and living environment and on things that she loves - animals and art! Which may I say she is very good at :-)

I would once again like to thank everyone in advance for their continued support now and in the future - you really are making a big difference.

I have been running for a few years now which is a new found passion for me but have known Daisy since she was 5yrs old, just at the point she was diagnosed. She attended dance classes with me and this makes it a cause very close to my heart. She is an inspiration to us all!!!
