Story

As many of you know a very close friend of mine had a traumatic birth which resulted in her precious baby being brain damaged. Louis is a real inspiration and has come on leaps and bounds but unfortuntely doesn‘t have the social or speech skills that we all take for granted. We all understand each child is different but its hard to put your feet in the every day shoes of the parents that look after children with extra needs. I am therefore running the Great East Half Marathon to raise funds to purchase additional sensory equipment for Louis’ school The Bridge School. The target I hope to get is £300.

In addition to this, anything raised above this amount will be equally shared between The Bridge School and Cancer Reseach UK, because cancer affects every single one of us, one way or another.

Those of you that know me well will know this is a major undertaking, I hate running long distrance, always have but anything is possible and I will get to the finish line whether it be run, walk or crawl.
