Eylam is 15 months old. He was diagnosed with ewing's sarcoma cancer when he was 9 months old. He has so far had 4 rounds of chemo and 3 operations to remove the tumour. He was not responding to the chemo at all, so it was decided that he should go to America for proton beam therapy. But miraculously on his last op the surgeons think they have managed to get all the tumour out. He has to have at least one more course of chemo, then a CT scan to see whats happening. If all is still good he won't have to go to America, so we have decided that we will carry on fund raising and if Eylam doesn't need the funds we will donate it to the Clic Sargent charity.
