On 27 April 2025 I am running the London Marathon in memory of Claire Knights.

In August 2023 Claire was simply enjoy walking her dog following a swim at Minnis Bay, Kent when she was murdered in a random attack. This was utterly devastating for all her family, friends and everyone who knew her.

She was an exceptional artist with a zest for life and was a loving mum, partner, daughter and sister.

As well as running in memory of Claire, I am raising money for the Arts Education Exchange (AEE), based in Margate, Kent. They work with young people who face barriers to accessing mainstream education to provide creative education, training, and employment. As a small, local arts charity based in Kent, this would have been close to Claire's heart.

I appreciate times are tough, and this is not the first time I have asked for support to raising money for charity through running events, but any small contribution is massively appreciated.

As the miles become tough I will think of Claire, her smile and infectious laugh and push on through.
