''Joans Hedge Fund''

If you wish to make a donation in memory of Joan she expressed a wish that you should plant a tree for her.

In her own words Mum said; ''Because of my love of the natural world and my passionate love of trees, I would like my executors to suggest the planting of a tree in my memory if anyone asks''.

With this in mind the family has arranged to fund the cost of planting a planned hedge at Haybridge Nature Reserve, near Bouth, similar to the one in the photograph that was planted a few years ago.

The idea is that a large tree will be left to grow, representing Joan, with the smaller trees making up the hedge representing her many, many friends.

As well as a memorial to Joan it will also serve as a lasting legacy to the wildlife of which she was so fond.

All contributions to ''Joans Hedge Fund'', however large or small, will be greatly appreciated by the family.
