I am planning to walk three peaks in one day on 30/9/17 to help raise funds to go towards buying essential equipment to enhance patients care and stay on ward 23 Leeds General Infirmary, Head and Neck Surgery. I also want to raise awareness for Oral and throat cancer. Our ward look after many different types of patients but our long-term patients are usually the head and neck surgical cancer patients. They tend to have tracheostomies and this often require special nursing care. Our ward staff are amazing however they're in desperate need of equipment which is reliable and up-to-date

. I also want to raise some funds to help a group of young girls, Starlight Cheerleaders, Leeds West Academy, they work extremely hard at their sport.which involves gymnastics, stunt and dance They train three times a week after school and have won countless trophies around the UK including Schools Out Grand Champions 2015 and 2016 , They are self funding as they get no school funding. Any money raised would go towards helping to finance competitions all round the UK in 2018
